Truck drivers keep it 10 below

November 2015

‘Keep it 10 below into corners’ is the latest road safety campaign for truck drivers as there has been an increasing number of single vehicle truck crashes on bends. This message is a reminder for truck drivers to travel at least 10 kp/h below the speed advertised on corners. Speed signs before corners are meant as a guidance for cars, heavy vehicles should keep it ’10 below’ the advised speed.

This campaign was developed in collaboration with road safety stakeholders from the Waikato to Northland and across to the Bay of Plenty.
